You’ve Got the Time!

“Faith Comes by Hearing and Hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17).

We have the incredible privilege of listening to the Word of God New Testament via CD in MP3 format for 40 days. This will take place in the time between Mother’s Day, May 9 through Father’s Day, June 20, ending around June 17.

Nothing is more moving than hearing the words of Jesus, the Apostle Paul, and others in your own language and having them come to life for you in your life. We are blessed to be able to do so with freedom and with little cost to us. Many in our country own at least one Bible; others own more than one and in more than one translation.

But, did you realize that some people around the world have never heard the words of Jesus spoken to them in their own language? Remembering that one of our greatest witnesses as Christians is to carry out  the Great Commission in Matthew 28: 19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Join us as we seek together to hear God’s Word daily between May 9 – June 17 or so, and then let’s commit to help others hear the words of Jesus in their own language as we have the privilege of doing.

The New Testament via CD in MP3 format may be picked up in the office at any time. If you do not have MP3 compatible media, you are invited to take one anyway and use the included format to read along with the rest of the church family or perhaps some of our young ones can help convert the CD into a format that would be helpful for you in listening.
