Gourmet Club n: adults who enjoy good fellowship along with good food and drink. Gourmet cooking skills not required.
2007 Upcoming Dates April 28th
MAY 12TH--CRAWFISH BOIL! 7:00 pm at the Woodwind Lakes Pavilion $20 per person for Crawfish, Steak OR Chicken, prepaid please. You will be asked to bring an appetizer or dessert. Bring your own lawn chairs and stake out your spot.
June 23rd
Couples, Singles, Friends, and Neighbors…all who desire good company. You don’t have to be a couple. You don’t have to be a member of St. Timothy’s. You do have to bring a willingness to share laughter, joy and friendship.
You are cordially invited to the next event of the St. Timothy’s Gourmet Club. We are a group of adults dedicated to gathering together once a month to enjoy good fellowship along with good food.
Each month, participants offer to serve as “secretary” or as a “host house” for the following month.
The Plan The secretary selects the menu and recipes for the following month and calls to see who will be participating for that particular month. Everyone who participates is assigned a menu item, such as an appetizer, salad, vegetable, entrée or dessert. The secretary also determines how many “host houses” are necessary to comfortably accommodate all participants.
Each “host house” serves the same menu items each month. When the main course is complete, all participants congregate at one chosen “host house” for more fellowship, shared with dessert.
The Cost Each participant tracks the cost of the menu item each prepared and participants at each “host house” divide the total cost evenly.
Dates to Remember: 4th Saturday of each month EXCEPT 2nd Saturday in May, Crawfish Boil 3rd Saturday in November 2nd Saturday in December featuring our “Make It, Bake It or Buy It” auction benefiting the St. Timothy’s General Fund.
