Forty Days of Prayer

Week of 1/29-1/04

Each new day brings new opportunities for service to you, O Lord.  Your word commands us to make disciples and to teach them your ways.

And what does the Lord require of us but to do justice, to love kindness and to walk humbly with you, O God?

Our minds, our thoughts are on you and on discerning your will.  We want to follow that will so that we can be the church that brings JOY to this community.

Praise the Lord! We give thanks to the Lord with our whole heart; the Lord is gracious and merciful.Father we trust that the changes that are taking place in our church and our lives are reflections of whom and what You want us to be.  Open our hearts that we may not falter, but be gracious and brave in this time.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding.  His praise endures forever.

 Amen
